Hi everyone! Just writing this quick post to let you know that our online store will be down for the next month or so. We are currently in the process of adding to our product line and revamping our labels and packaging. Due to this and the high local demand for our products, we cannot fully maintain the website at this time.

We expect to re-open the online store by the end of August 2010.

Sold out of most soaps temporarily!

Hi everyone! Just wanted to let you know that due to an unexpected large wholesale order, many of our soaps are now “sold out” online.

If you happen to live in the Marathon area, the soaps pictured on our website can be purchased at Mays Gifts on highway 17. In the mean time, we are working hard to bring our stock back up. Our soaps need to cure for a minimum of four weeks before they are ready to use. You can expect to see our regular scents plus many new ones available on our website within the next few weeks.

2010 Green Tradeshow

We just wanted to thank all of you that came out to see us at the Terrace Bay Green Tradeshow this past weekend. We had a great time at the show and felt so pampered by all the helpful volunteers they had on hand. It was wonderful! Sales were great and we were lucky enough to win a prize from the Norwex lady for being the first exhibitor to register for the show. How cool!

Hello, everyone! Just a quick update to notify our local customers that our products are no longer available at Valerie’s Extended Wear in Marathon. At this time, orders can be placed online and picked up at our home. We will still be attending as many public events as possible (our next shows are the Terrace Bay Green Tradeshow and the Marathon Summerfest Open Market) and we hope to be able to offer our products to you from a retail store again in the near future. Stay tuned to find out where!

Hi everyone! We really appreciate your patience as we continue to re-stock our website. We have been set back slightly due to a death in our immediate family, but are back to work now.

We will be listing several soaps available for “pre-order” in the next week or so. It will be another 3-4 weeks before any of our newly listed soaps will be ready for shipment/pick-up, but by pre-ordering you can be sure your order will ship right away when it is ready.

Merry Christmas, everyone! Just a quick post to let you know that due to our success over the Christmas season, we are sold out of just about all of our products at this time!

We apologize for the inconvenience, but would like to thank all of our awesome customers who made our first Christmas in business a super successful one! We really did not expect all the business we received but appreciate it so much!

Please bear with us as we re-stock our online store and get ready for 2010! We are working on some really nice products for Valentines Day and Mothers Day, and already have one event booked (Terrace Bay Green Trade Show in April). We also hope to have our products available in at least one local store this year.

Happy Holidays everyone! You’ll notice that many of our products are “sold out” on our website right now. We actually do have several soaps, Body Whips, bath salts, bubble bath, gift baskets, and soy candle tarts in stock at Valerie’s Extended Wear. If you are local, please check out Valerie’s in the Superior Place Mall. You can find our products there from now until January 1st. After the 1st you will be able to order online through our website and pick up your order, or find us at local events (please check our “Shows” page for upcoming events).

We are hoping to have our products available to our local customers in a few retail shops in and around Marathon in the new year. We will keep you updated!

Valerie’s Extended Wear

We have been getting a lot of calls from local customers lately asking where they can buy our products. Unfortunately, we are not yet set up to have customers come to our home (where our products are made), but we are working on that. We are planning a few “Open Houses” for the new year, and plan to eventually have a small gift shop set up in our home so that customers can come over to shop. For now, we are trying to attend as many public events as possible, and suggest that customers order from our website. Orders can be picked up or we can deliver them to you.

We have graciously been invited to showcase our products in Valerie’s Extended Wear store this holiday season. Valerie’s is located in the Superior Place Mall at 2 Ontario Street in Marathon. You will be able to find our products there from December 14th-January 1st. We will have a selection of soaps, bath salts, body butters, bath bombs, lip balm, soy wax tarts, Christmas gift baskets and more available at Valerie’s. We hope you’ll check them out! Lots of great stocking stuffer and Christmas gift ideas.

Thanks again to all of our customers for making our first few months in business a huge success! Our business is doing extremely well and we are so very pleased that everyone in the area is loving and sharing our products. Have a happy holiday season, everyone!

Marathon Handcrafters Fall Fair

We want to thank everyone for coming out to the Marathon Handcrafters Fall Fair this weekend. We were so happy to see such a great turn out, and really enjoyed meeting a lot of customers that have been following us online over the past few months!

We do want to let you know that our website is always evolving, and if you don’t happen to find what you’re looking for at this time, please check back soon. We also take custom orders. If you would like a special gift basket made up, or a certain soap, lotion, etc. in your favourite scent, please let us know and we would be happy to make it for you.

Also, several people asked us this past weekend if we are selling our products for a larger company. The answer is, “Nope!” All of our products are handmade right here in Marathon, by yours truly. We make our products here at home with high quality, natural ingredients. We also try to source our ingredients locally when possible.

Again, we want to thank everyone for coming out to the fair, and we look forward to seeing you again soon! You can find us next at the Moonlight Madness sale in White River this Thursday, November 19th from 6-9pm at the Legion.
